Half a day tour (about 4 hours) in Jerusalem:

The old city of Jerusalem has a lot to offer, in a half day tour will focus on the highlights:

Visit the Christian quarter, Via Dolorosa and the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, walking in the narrow alleys of the Muslim quarter to the Western Wall, Byzantine Cardo, Horva Synagogue, Mount Zion Last Super Room and King David Tomb.

On the way we can stop for a quick bite of Falafel/Shawarma, or an apple strudel on the Austrian Hospice.

Full day tour (about 8 hours):

Full day tour in Jerusalem can include a lot of places, here are a few options:

Entering the Old City from the Jaffa gate, visit the Christian quarter Church of the Holy Sepulcher, Via Dolorosa, walking in the Muslim quarter, Austrian Hospice, Western Wall, Byzantine Cardo, Horva synagogue, Mount Zion Last super room and King David Tomb. We can add the Temple Mount, I would recommend the Davidson Center on top of the City of David (walking in the tunnel from the City of David to the Davidson Center - no need to book in advance. The Kotel Tunnel tour (must book in advance) is very popular as well.

Some will start a day tour from the Mount of Olives. And go downhill from there overviewing an amazing view on Jerusalem and 3000 year old Jewish cemetery, visiting the Garden of Gethsemane (a.k.a. Church of All Nations) and the Sanctuary of Dominus Flevit, crossing the Kidron valley to the Lions Gate and continue in the Old City.

Either way, there are plenty of sights to visit in the Old City, and you can add some of the new city as well (Machane Yehuda market place, German Colony and more…)

The tour is personal and therefor you can change/add any sight at any time.
